Sarah Norris was born and raised in Monroe, North Carolina, graduating from Parkwood High School in 2007. After high school, Norris attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she studied journalism and political science and achieved Dean’s List honors. Norris obtained her Bachelor of Arts from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2011. At UNC-Chapel Hill, Norris served on the Honor Court for two years, winning Most Valuable Court Member in 2011.
Immediately following the conclusion of her undergraduate studies, Norris pursued her juris doctor at Campbell University’s Normal Adrian Wiggins School of Law in Raleigh, North Carolina. While at Campbell, Norris received the Book Award for Legal Research and Writing and participated in the Campbell Law Innocence Project, the Student Bar Association, Campbell Law Connections and Campbell’s Intramural Moot Court Competition. During her third year of law school, Norris became certified under the Third Year Practice Rule, allowing her to seek and successfully obtain Domestic Violence Protection Orders on behalf of her clients referred from Legal Aid of North Carolina.
Norris graduated from Campbell Law in May 2014 and sat for the bar examination in July of that year. Norris passed on the first attempt and became licensed in August 2014. Prior to working at Bell & Bell Law Firm, Norris was employed at Brent Adams & Associates, where she practiced personal injury law in Raleigh, NC and its surrounding areas. As a personal injury attorney, Norris represented clients on motor vehicle negligence, dog bites, bad faith insurance and wrongful death claims.
When she isn’t working, Norris enjoys reading, running, cheering on her Tar Heels and eating frozen yogurt with her family.
